All of Us Research Program and LGBTQ Communities
Why does it matter that we're counted? LGBTQ people have unique health care needs, beyond traditional care. All of Us Research is creating a research community of one million people who will share their unique health data. This resource could help researchers conduct thousands of studies on health and disease.
Precision Medicine – what is it and why should it matter to LGBT communities? Precision medicine is health care that is based on you as an individual. It takes into account factors like where you live, what you do, and your family health history. Precision medicine’s goal is to be able to tell people the best ways to stay healthy.
